Yep, that was lunch on yet another lazy day of spring break – my sister packed me a plate of my mother’s birthday feast from last week, tostones, maduros, salchipapas, pollo, arroz, ‘salsa verde’ in the little jar and awesome beans in the big container. I don’t know, it’s the Matador from Pio Pio (I’ve never eaten there actually). That green sauce was too spicy for me after just a teeny dip! Craziness! And I couldn’t finish everything for lunch, but it was all damn tasty, tasty stuff… 🙂
Another wonderful day of my spring break. Enjoying myself thoroughly right now! 😀

Pio Pio is awesome for dinner. I haven’t had in a while. My buddies and I need to hit up the Jackson Heights location again for take-out.
And the aji pepper green sauce is pretty mild.
