Rushed home from class to scarf down lunch, even though I was exhausted and needed a nap (stayed up late studying and doing homework). This broke college student depends on the generosity of her siblings to eat well! Lobster, fresh from Maine, brought down by my very own brother, that I cooked and then shelled myself… yes, I kept the green bits (tomalley) because I love the way it tastes, though some people would cringe and say NO WAY to that… whatever! more for me!… and part of a rib eye that I’d had leftover from dinner at my sister’s. NOM. Surf & turf, homemade, trumps any other kind there is.
Today is my short day of classes – I then headed over to a press event/conference at Madison Square Garden for the historic partnership of Grana Padano and Parmagiano Reggiano. The event was a bit confusing for me – everyone was speaking Italian! – but afterwards, we were invited to the luxury suites to watch the Knicks play the Nuggets. Unfortunately, the game started off horribly – the Nuggets were up 12-0 before the Knicks could score – and the people in the suite with me were, well, also horrible. Rude and annoying and drunk. So I left after the first quarter and headed over to the ML HH I’d organized a month ago… totally sober, had a good night hanging with people and just enjoying some fun conversations with drunk people while I kept my wits about me, hehehe.
An awesome, most excellent day, to be sure. To be sure… an amazing end to it, too. <3

Nice surf & turf.
Too bad the Knicks are downright horrible these days.
And better late than never for ML HH!!
You also got to enjoy SS too. At least most of you did.
