I took another walk tonight after class and found it much colder out than last night – the wind had picked up and I was shivering near constantly. This time, I remembered my camera (responding to the commenter who asked on yesterday’s 365 post if I’d taken any pictures – I forgot my camera last night, whoops!), and took a lot of snaps of the gorgeous park near me. I could easily share one of those photos, but I saw this and had to take a photo. I want to know this couple’s story. What are their names? Are they married, thus the same last name initial? Are they a new couple, and this is the early on infatuation where everything glows happy and lovely for them? Or are they years down the line, way past new, but always finding life together exciting, taking walks in a freezing cold park late at night when no one’s around, stealing kisses from each other, stopping for a moment to scratch out a poorly drawn heart and their initials in the icy hard snow? I guess I’ll never know…
I wonder what it’s like to be loved that deeply by someone, even after years and years together. Maybe I already know and don’t even realize it? Maybe I’ll find out one day…
maybe

My initial thought looking only at the letters were Bulls*** and Less s***? It’s cute though, whoever the couple might be.
Hhhmmm. So during the summer, will you be observing the senior couples on the park benches? The way they can express their love after so many years together…

I’m glad you had your camera last night.
When you’re with that person that’s perfect for you, I think these moments of brilliant insanity — walking through a freezing park at night, scratching out a goofy heart in the snow, stealing kisses in the dark — happen all the time. I guess it’s just a matter of figuring out who’s perfect for you.
