No classes scheduled on President’s Day, so I wound up working on my speech for speech class (since people like to ask me why I’m writing a speech), and then heading out to grab a quick bite. Kids – do not try this at home. Well, my friend’s chicken & waffles came out best in pictures, so here it is. As it was devoured fairly completely, I’m going to hazard that it was delicious. What I ordered was fairly yummy too, and of course, a full write-up is to come.
I ate too much, and once again showed my weakness as I felt super sick from all the fried foods. Weak! But a brisk walk around the neighborhood to try to calm my tummy in turmoil, a bit of hot tea, and I was right as rain soon enough. Thank goodness for understanding friends who take care of you when you don’t feel so hot.
The snow began to fall all around us as I entered the train station. One more incredible night. Just one more…

That looks gooood. Glad your tummy eventually cooperated. Friends like that are hard to find!
