I think my family should do something similar to honor my grampa. It know it's morbid, but he was sick for so long and we sometimes joke that we killed him with curry, his least favorite food (it's what we were eating when he passed away). Now I think of him even more when I eat spicy Indian food. PS- bamboo shoots, I think that's what's mixed in with the baby bok choy. Yummy! I call my Mom every year on the day my Dad died and still send her anniversary and birthday cards for him because I guess, I just don't want to believe he isn't in SC playing golf. ....and that was a mean thing to do to that fish. ha!
