I too am obsessed w/ Top Chef, and watching the show really started my love of food, writers of food, & especially great admiration for chefs. Try to catch a show of Top Chef Masters when it comes back on, you may just get hooked. This seemed like a great event & having a top pastry chef like Elizabeth Faulkner showing how to make that yummy desssert, WOW!!!
