Post-Giana, we were wandering on our way when someone said, “You know, we can stay out… it’s only midnight.” So we kept celebrating StB’s birthday and hit up Wine Bar, where we’ve all been a number of times on separate occasions. It’s a cute place, and when it’s not packed – which it wasn’t this time – it’s a great place to sit and chat and have wine. HB and I have been here before, sharing a bottle between the two of us… haha.
Hours having passed since dinner, HB, living up to her name (well, in her defense, she hadn’t had any dessert at Giana), was hungry. So we ordered one of the flatbreads to split – chorizo – which was pretty tasty. The only bad thing was the chorizo not being cut along with the slices, so some slices got more chorizo than others. Crispy, salty from the cheese and chorizo, but definitely hit the spot and went nicely with our wine. I wouldn’t mind going back to try more items from the food menu.
(I have to note here, a proud moment for all of us old ladies… we stayed till last call. I haven’t been out that late in a long time… and probably won’t be again for another long time… haha.)

Last time Pooldad and I stayed out that late was because we both fell asleep during the 10:00 pm showing of a movie. Poor ushers had to wake us up [not kidding].
Sounds like a fabu night! Happy Birthday to StB!
