I was wondering if they serve the sake bombs to 17 and 18 years olds? I was planning to come here with my friends for a fun night in the city and it seems like this is the place to go without having to pay too much. The food looks great and its close to the train station and times square. If someone could respond that would be great!

Edamame is my favorite! It's the best when it's steamed and salted. There is a place similar to this out where I live.. and the sushi is to die for. It's a little expensive so we can't go there all the time, but I enjoy it occasionally.

Hagi is fun but the food could be a little better for the price. Why is it that most izakayas could do a much better job at crisping up their chicken skin!

chicken skin on a skewer? I am all over it. :) And Anon is right - the corndog coating is usually sweet [it is made with cornmeal, milk, egg and a lil' sugar]but it looks normal in the pic' - I don't know what makes it japanese - and store bought corndogs usually use low quality hotdogs in their corndogs, so that is probably what you received.

If you need the recipe let me know - they are so easy to make - never buy the frozen store bought - ick. If you don't have time to make your own buy one that is made while you are there, dipped, etc. So good.
