Friday afternoon fun bit for you before I jet off on vacation and the automatic posts are set in motion.
If I were going to be in town for this, you would so find me there. I really like raw oysters, and this sounds like a lot of fun! If anyone goes, please take lots of pictures and let me know how it was!!!

Grand Central Oyster Frenzy will take place all day Saturday, September 20th, at the historic Grand Central Oyster Bar. Activities include: Lee Ann Leichtfuss, the Personal Chef to designer Ralph Lauren, sharing her gourmet wizardry with the public, the annual professional shucking championships, a “slurp off” eating contest and a “beer shucking” showdown. The festivities begin at 12:00 noon.
