Recently, I went on a weekend trip to Las Vegas with my girl friend, her boyfriend, and my boyfriend. She mentioned that they were renting a car solely for the purpose of going to… In & Out, which is off the strip (near Tropicana, I think, or on Tropicana Avenue? something like that). I won’t bore you with the details of why we wound up taking a cab there and asking the driver to wait while we got it to go…
So after my first fairly negative review of In & Out, a few people told me I’d ordered wrong. I didn’t know about the secret menu the first time, and they informed me that I had unfairly judged InO without trying the ultimate: Animal Style…!
Back I went, ordering the Double-Double, Animal Style this time.
And now, having tried the Double-Double Animal Style at InO, I believe I have given InO a FAIR SHAKE and my final decision is…
I’m still not that enamored of this place. This was still just okay, better than last time, sure, but not that fantastic or anything that I’d go out of my way for. Again, if someone I’m with says “Ooh let’s go to In & Out” I’m not going to refuse, but I’m also not going to be the one to say that or crave it.
*cough Shake Shack in NYC is still better cough* I haven’t yet gone [back] to SS yet [to take pictures], extenuating circumstances, so review of that still to come.
Yvo [still] says: The fries still suck and the burgers are only okay. I’m not keen on waiting on long lines of mobs of people who are all hungry and pushy, either. Oh well.
