I'm usually not a fan of Gehry's work, but this is an exception. Using wood as a wrapper imitating structure is not only novel, but ties the space down through the use of a consistent, inviting, and non-distracting material palette. Perhaps Gehry is more suited to small-scale projects Laptop battery.

I live near SF and go to Pier often (mostly for the arcade lol). I’ve been meaning to try this place for YEARS but it is indeed too expensive although I’d determined the next time I go to SF I’ll be eating here. Last time I finally got to try Bubba Gumps! And I’ll be sure to get crab cakes from there as well since you mentioned it!
